The Historic Don Strange Ranch has a long and rich history in the Texas Hill Country. The ranch has been around since the mid-1800s when German Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels established a presence on Texas land. The land was developed by Bavarian immigrant, Niclaus Zink, and was known as Zink Creek Ranch until Don Strange and his family took it over in 1952.

It was an award winning cattle ranch for many years ands a home to thousands of weddings, community and philanthropic events, concerts, and more under the Strange family ownership. It has been a gathering place for both Boerne residents and friends from all over the US over the last 70 years and we hope to carry on that legacy for many more years to come.
